The Challenge
Design a festive and engaging holiday newsletter that would stand out in an already crowded inbox during the holiday season — while staying true to the brand’s identity and driving clear user action.
Key constraints included:
Maintaining brand consistency despite the seasonal shift in visuals
Creating a design that worked seamlessly across devices (especially mobile)
Ensuring the contest mechanics were clear without overwhelming the viewer
Balancing aesthetic charm with conversion goals

I designed a visually festive yet brand-aligned newsletter that focused on clarity, mobile responsiveness, and emotional engagement.
Key design solutions included:
Clean, modular layout for easy readability across devices
Holiday-themed visuals like snowflakes, and gift wrap textures
Bold, easy-to-spot CTA buttons designed as gift tags to encourage interaction
Concise, friendly copy that clearly outlined contest details with a sense of excitement
Animated elements (like subtle falling snow and ornaments) added a dynamic touch without affecting load speed
Created alternative versions for A/B testing subject lines and CTA wording
Together, these choices led to a design that felt warm, joyful, and action-driven, while maintaining the brand’s upscale feel.
